Math can pose significant challenges for young learners, from understanding abstract concepts like fractions, decimals, and place value to mastering problem-solving skills. Many students grapple with memorising formulas, deciphering word problems, and managing math anxiety. All of which can be a factor that would hinder the progress, causing fear, stress and a negative attitude towards the subject.

Primary 3&4
Miss Tan tailors her teaching to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. She provides clear and detailed explanations of math concepts, breaking them down into manageable steps and using visual aids to enhance understanding.
Additionally, Miss Tan often employs interactive and hands-on activities that make learning math more engaging and enjoyable. Through regular assessments, Miss Tan can track students' progress and identify areas that require further attention, allowing for timely intervention and support.

Primary 5&6
An experienced teacher can make a significant difference in Upper Primary students' Math journey. With Miss Tan's expertise and specialised knowledge, she provides targeted support and guidance tailored to each student's needs where she is able to offer in-depth explanations of complex math concepts, ensuring a solid understanding and comprehension.
As problem sum is a key focus area towards PSLE, Miss Tan helps students to develop effective problem-solving strategies, tackle challenging math problems, and apply critical thinking skills. She will also be able to address specific areas of weakness, fill knowledge gaps, provide additional practice to reinforce learning and offer guidance on exam preparation and study techniques to maximise success.
